I will be reading poetry and memoir alongside Henry Normal at Five Leaves bookshop, Nottingham, on Tuesday 12 December from 7-8.30 pm. Tickets are sold out but if you would like a place, it might be worth adding your name to their waiting list in case there are any returns, by sending an email request to Five Leaves.
Recent News
I am honoured that a few lines of my poetry are going to be added to the walls of the new Nottingham City Library,
which officially opens on 28 November 2023!
This year I am delighted to have recently had poems published in Pennine Platform (Curtain Call); Orbis (The Best Days of Your Life and Aunt Margaret), where I was runner-up in their readers' choice ballot; Acumen (The Poetry Detective meets Jenny Joseph); and And Other Poems (Worlds Apart). I also had two Highly Commended poems in the Ware Poetry Competition 2023 and was shortlisted in the Second Light 2023 Poetry Competition.

If you are a novice poetry writer, or have been writing poetry for some time, there are courses for you. There is also an online evening course – Telling Your Story – and a further general writing course, Playing with Words, available in a mix of online and in-person sessions.
