I am currently working on two main projects:
This is the unique, searchable British Council website which contains continually updated profiles of some of the UK and Commonwealth’s most important living writers, as well as writers from the Republic of Ireland. Included in the profiles are biographies, bibliographies, critical reviews, prize information and photographs.
I have compiled and edited this website for the last 6 years.
- Derbyshire Wellbeing Project
The aim of this project is to set up reading and writing groups and activities for mental health service users and their carers across Derbyshire. I am consultant to this project, working out the best ways of proceeding, setting up and initially running groups, working with library staff and evaluating the project. It is run by Derbyshire County Council Reader Development.
